:Apple TV 4 Closed Captioning Won't Turn Off

I had this problem with Apple TV on NFL Red Zone. Captions wouldn’t turn off even after opening settings, turning captions off and saving.

i did find a solution, however.

Tap button (tap panel) at top of apple, and notice a little cc in upper right corner.

now, tap very upper right corner of same tap panel… and the cc will change. Captions are now off.

worked for me.

Thank you! This was the only thing that finally worked for me too. I used the Apple TV “remote app” that’s built into my iPhone, but same concept - tap middle of the “panel”, wait for Cc to appear, tap top right corner of same “panel” on my phone. There is no spot marked, you just have to click the top right corner, so it’s pretty awkward. Thanks again - I was going nuts trying to fix it!
