Check the activity monitor app on your Mac to see what is using all of your resources. You can quit apps from there that are causing problems.

do I clear it? if so do I clear the CPU, Memory, Energy, Disk or Network?
If you quit the apps using your CPU, RAM, etc, then that will be freed up for different processes.
How do I quit the apps?
In the toolbar in activity monitor, there should be an octagon with a x in the center. Select the app you want to quit, then click the octagon.
