Outside of Educational environments, iPad (and iPhone) are not intended to be multi-user devices. This may be the root of issues that you may be experiencing.

Be aware that if your sign-in to iCloud with a different AppleID, you’ll not be able to sign-in with a different AppleID for 90 days.
