Why is there no lightning to usb c adapters to support video??

I need an adapter from lightning to usb c that supports video and there are none!

Lightning is a completely different interface - that does not support many features and standards that are supported by USB-C.


Of the many standards not supported by Lighting is USB-C DisplayPort (a.k.a. DP Alternate Mode) video. Lightning, however, does support HDMI or VGA with an appropriate adapter.
