Soundcore Life q20 sounding choppy when paired to Mac.

When I pair my Soundcore Life q20 headphones to my MacBook Pro 2019 they sound very choppy. What fixes the issue (sometimes) is turning off the Bluetooth on the MacBook Pro. It sounds choppy on everything on the Mac from Apple Music to GarageBand. I also noticed the issue started happening after upgrading from Catalina to Big Sur. I also tested this on a 2017 Touch Bar 13” MacBook Pro.

The Bluetooth core (5.0) in the headphones is the same as the MacBook Pro I normally use. Any ideas on how to fix this?
