Adapters for new 2021 MacBook M1 Pro I am making a transition from a 2015 MacBook 13-inch to a 2021 Macbook M1 Pro. The 2015 Macbook pro has two Thunderbolt 2 ports (up to 20 Gbps) and two USB 3 ports (up to 5 Gbps). I would like to keep using my magic apple mouse and keyboard with have a USB connection. I also have a 2015 Apple Thunderbolt with a thunderbolt 2 connection. Firewire to Thunderbolt Adapter New 24" iMac Big Sur. I bought an Apple adapter but it's too big for the Thunderbolt port. Are there different sizes? How can I know what to buy? Thanks.

Is thunderbolt 4 usb the same as thunderbolt 3? My MacBook-pro has 2 thunderbolt 4 USB ports. What adapter do I need to use the peripherals that have usb A connectors?

If you mean a dock I have used the OWC:

And my company recommends the Caldigit:

https://www.caldigit.com/ts3-plus/

(AFAIUI the difference between TB3 and TB4 is mainly a PC thing. For Macs they are pretty well equivalent.)

Yes, it is confusing, but the TB3 should just plug right in.

I should have been more specific...I want to use a couple printers that have USB cables, a cable that has a thunderbolt 3 connector/USB connector. What you suggested is more than I need. I need something with that has a few ports. I don't know understand the difference between thunderbolt 3 and thunderbolt 4 ports/cables. I need to do more reading I think. although it is quite confusing.
