Vastly different wifi speeds on iPhone and MacBook.

I ran the same wifi speed test on my MacBook Air (2020) and iPhone SE (2020) from the same location and the iPhone got 10 Mbps while the laptop got 190 Mbps. Any idea why the results would be so drastically different?

iPhone SE, iOS 15

Hello enohpi4,

We are sorry to hear that the Wi-Fi speeds on the iPhone are slower than expected.

Have you restarted your iPhone? You can Restart your iPhone with the steps here.

Try the steps in the 'Check for issues with your Wi-Fi network' section of If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network

There may be wireless interference causing the issue. Here is how to Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference
