Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
When I open and edit a pic shot in portrait mode (with the "Portrait" label in the top left), I don't get the Portrait selection menu under adjustments. Nor do I get the portrait adjustment toolbar at the bottom of the window.
Is this because I'm using an older (2014) iMac?
I do get the Portrait mode f-stop and lighting options on the iPhone.

I'm on a MacBook Pro 2019. Using the iphone 13pro. Problems only started when I got the new phone. All software up to date but have not yet installed Maverick.... I am hoping that will be the cure....
Updated to new OS yesterday and it totally fixed all my issues with editing portrait photos.
Try turning your phone off and back on. That fixed this issue for me.
We’re not quite getting there. I can edit my portrait pic settings on my iPhone, but not on my iMac. Under adjustments, the portrait adjustment menu is absent.
Yes...I am in the same boat. Fixed on phone but not working on computer. I am working with an Apple Support person but it seems to be a bug that will need fixing. ugh
Well...MacOs 11.6.1 didn't fix the problem.

Do you mean you upgraded to Monterey and that solved it?
Well bummer! My 2014 iMac cannot be updated to Monterey 😩. I guess I’ll do my portrait adjustments on my phone.
These are definitely first world issues.
