CarPlay Intermittent connection on new iPhone 13 Pro with latest iOS 15 update

Intermittent connection on new iPhone 13 Pro with latest iOS 15 update. When I get in my 2020 Lexus UXH 250 each and plug it in to my phone I get a CarPlay connection that keeps going in and out of connection. I’m not even trying to use anything specific but for instance my maps keeps connecting and then it disconnects. Same thing with sound from a conference call with my Teams app on my iPhone 13 Pro. The sound keeps transferring from my phone to the car and back and forth it’s really annoying. This did not happen at all with my iPhone XS which has been traded in . Currently regretting spending all this money for the latest tech.
