Timelapse on an iPhone 13 pro

I want to take a timelapse over the period of a day. Will timelapse accommodate such a long time? And does that mean it's a HUGE file?

Yes and Yes.

TimeLapse will be active for as long as you let it be and as long as there is storage space on the iPhone. How long it can go will depend on the available storage on the iPhone.

note that time-lapse will automatically reduce the amount of frames per second it captures the longer the TimeLapse runs.

Make sure you have enough Storage space for the time-lapse on the iPhone. Calculate around 200GB for 24 hours maybe more.

And remember the iPhone will need to be stationary and cannot be used for other things while the Time-Lapse is running.
