Adobe Acrobat DC Not Opening

When I go to open my Adobe Acrobat DC (I use the Adobe Creative Suite) all that happens is a grayed out toolbar at the top of my screen. No windows open but it does show a checkmark next to the file name as if it is open. When I try to show any open windows by right-clicking and selecting that option on the program icon, it says there are none open. I've tried uninstalling and installing again. No such luck!

Boot into Safe Mode according to Start up your Mac in safe mode - Apple Support and test to see if the problem persists. Reboot normally and test again.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 3 - 5 minutes as it's doing the following;

• Verifies your startup disk and attempts to repair directory issues, if needed

• Loads only required kernel extensions (prevents 3rd party kernel/extensions from loading)

• Prevents Startup Items and Login Items from opening automatically

• Disables user-installed fonts

• Deletes font caches, kernel cache, and other system cache files

I'm having the same problem trying to access my automobile insurance & prompts me to update my flash player and won't open the video. When I search adobe acrobat flash player, it said they stopped updating end of 2020 and warns against using other browsers; but, when I search Sarfari as directed there are no updates and no alternatives. I'm at a loss but will try another browser.
