I upgraded my HomePod to iOS 15 and since then have had an issue with it making a loud popping noise (loud enough to wake my dog) and then disconnect from my iPad. I am using AirPlay and connect to both HomePod and HomePod mini. All devices are running current iOS 15 versions. There is no issue with the mini. I am able to reconnect the HomePod after about 3 minutes.
Anyone else having this issue.

Mine as well. With HomePod OS 15 my full sized HomePods started making that random popping sound, when they were t even being used. After the last updates to those and APPLE TV I set my HomePods up as default sound. They keep randomly disconnecting and reconnecting to my Eero 6 Pro network, they show up as private devices with a random MAC address that is different each time, there’s now a list of about 8 or 9 in my Eero offline list as this keeps happening. When it does they may reconnect, or one may reconnect and the other will not. This is not happening to my HomePod Mini’s that are also up to date and being used with 4th gen Apple TV’s as well.
Still no popping on any of my HomePod's; although, HomeKit continues to be a little buggy... it will report that all my speakers are playing when only one stereo pair is.
No one having the same issue? It‘s weird and I can‘t find out if my HomePod is near to death or something…
No sorry, no major issues, just a little HomeKit delay / no response, and wifi DNS privacy notices, from time to time

Yep! I also got the popping noise. Especially when using my HomePod mini's in stereo. Sometimes the whole sound is gone for like 4 to 5 seconds. Really annoying!
I've checked the logs but don't see any panic entry. I can send you the logs maybe can you check it?
