iPhone over bluetooth plays music after any Siri interaction
To clear the air, I know that Apple refuses to make it possible to not start playing music the second bluetooth connects in my car. It'll always be this way for ... reasons? That's fine, I'll move on.
However, in the car, any interaction with siri or using voice-to-text causes music to start playing. I'm pausing the same song in my car ... 100s of times per week. You can't interact hands free with messages because of this.
It may be possible that I'm the only car bluetooth iPhone user that Apple has ever had. All of the PMs and engineers at Apple have CarPlay and things are golden for them, perhaps. The user experience with car bluetooth is upsetting, sure, but more than that, it's downright bizarre. This can not be intended behavior. To constantly play a song at someone as the result of any voice interaction with an iPhone? It's insane, so insane, that I do not believe it was intentional. Oversight perhaps, but not intentional.
These problems, to varying degrees have affected my iPhone 3s, 4, 5, 6, 8, X, XS, XS Max, and 12 mini. I don't expect a solution. Whatever has gone wrong with iOS in regard to this issue is either totally unknown to all of Apple or they don't care. I just wanted to ask a serious question that I know will have no answer, but man I'd like to know. Wouldn't that be amazing?
"Sir, it turns out you are indeed, the only iPhone user to ever use bluetooth. We had no idea this was happening!"
"Honestly, some small part of us just wants to watch the world burn, to inflict a tinge of chaos and rage into the hearts of our customers."
"Gremlins, you have gremlins. This problem exists for no one else."
