Hi, I am having problems with my airpods. I can hear just fine, but when on the phone, the person on the other line cannot hear me. I have model number A2031, version 4A400.

Sorry I have no fix for them yet but the work around that I have is to ask all my customers to use google duo versus FaceTime while using my Samsung for now. The good thing is they understand.
From 2021/10/10 I have the same problem with Airpods. (A2031 fw 4A400). I use Airpods with iPhone 11 (iOS 15.0.2). I've tried everything, I've even connected them to the old iphone 6s plus with the same iOS version. The microphone does not record sound even in the "Voice Memos" application.
Already desperate, I decided to pair the Airpods with the Samsung S20 Plus, to my surprise with the Samsung phone the microphone works.
I reconnected the Airpods to the iPhone 11, but the problem still persists.
Please advise how to fix the problem.
Honestly it’s probably their updated firmware , Apple trying to probably cause small problems with older devices so that you buy their newest products … corrupt … same thing happened to me no mic working anymore after the update
Did u get it fixed exactly same issue with me I am using 11 pro max latest ios installed .somehow from Around 10 days AirPods don’t allow me to speak . There is a random out put at receivers end as if I am speaking from far away …. I have to use it for my official meetings but this is poor on apple to force updates which break the working device and there is no way to stop such updates just charging while working updates the firmware

hello...my AirPods also had the same problem, I brought the Airpods to the seller and he sent them to the complaint. The AirPods are replaced and the box remains. The new AirPods have version 4C165. The mic is now working properly.
