Music Cloud Status Stuck on Waiting

I've just tried using ITunes Match, and every track has been stuck on waiting for days. I've seen lots of questions on here along similar lines, and no real answers as to the cause of the problem or a solution. Can anyone help, or is this simply something I should give up hope on as my perception is that there must be a fundamental flaw? I do have a very large music library (mainly burnt from CD - due to the problems I havent even started to add tracks from vinyl), however even with a very fast broadband connection after several hours only 2 or 3 tracks were showing as uploaded (none were matched) and then despite leaving it nothing changed?

Hi strtcpr,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities.

We understand that iTunes is taking a too long to upload your music library and we are happy to help.

"If most of your music was imported from sources other than Apple Music, or you have a large music library, it might take more time for your music library to upload.

Make sure that your computer is authorized so any music that you previously purchased from the iTunes Store can be uploaded. Then follow these steps:

  1. Connect your Mac or PC to the internet.
  2. Open the Apple Music app or iTunes.
  3. On your Mac, make sure that Sync Library is turned on. On your PC, make sure that iCloud Music Library is turned on.
  4. Keep the Apple Music app or iTunes open until your music library is finished uploading.

If a song is still grayed out after your music library is uploaded, import a new copy of the song into your music library. Then in the Apple Music app or iTunes, go to the menu bar and choose File > Library > Update Cloud Library."

Learn what to do If your songs are grayed out or If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library.
