no residue tape for iphone protection

i used to, in the past with electronics … use some protective film/tape on parts of the phone like the polished frame on an iphone … to protect from scratches.

i want to put some film around the lightning port on an iphone 13 pro, and think non-residue tape like Scotch wall-safe might do the trick. looking to protect from scratches when inserting the plug into the port.

any suggestions for something that can be used but wont leave residue or discolor the bezel/frame ?

The best protection for the phone is the protective tempered glass on the front and the back of the phone with a flash. You must be aware that by choosing additional protection, you may lose the appearance of the phone or reduce its functionality. Such protective glass may not fit perfectly in every place on the screen, which significantly worsens the visual effect of the iPhone. On the other hand, the protective glass on the flash and phone lenses has a negative effect on taking photos. It all depends on what quality of photos you expect. Some do not notice the differences and are satisfied, while others say that they are nasty and prefer not to stick anything there.

Regards.
