Airpods SN and firmware version

Hi,

I recently bought used Airpods and connected them to my iPhone 7plus.

In Airpods settings (via bluetooth) I saw the serial number GX****KKT and firmware version number 0B896a, model version A2084

Serial number on the case was GX****KKT, model version A2190.

After succesful connectig to iPhone via bluetooth, in the general phone settings, the Airpods data is not visible at all (just only in bluetooth settings)…

I tries with another iPhone 12mini, and its all the same as described…

Can anyone tell me is this Airpods are genuie, and can the firmware version be updated?

Thx

Hello Mladen179,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Based on your post, you'd like help verifying your second hand AirPods as genuine. We'll do our best to assist.

For this, we'd review the following: Identify your AirPods

To validate the serial number, try using the Check Coverage website: Check Your Service and Support Coverage

Hoping this helps out, take care.
