i have a new ipad pro but my emails aren’t showing up, how do i get my emails to transfer over?

how do i get the new i pro ipad to gather my emails from my old ipad?

You email messages are not transferred between devices - but must instead be downloaded again from your email providers Mail Server. Assuming that you email provider uses IMAP, all your email is kept on the server; your iPad will download a copy of email messages from the mail server.


If you used Apple’s transfer process when setting-up your new iPad, your mail account settings should have been automatically transferred to your new iPad. If you instead set-up the new iPad manually, then you will need to add the Mail account(s) to your iPad:
