I have received a IPhone from my daughter. She used it for a long period in Holland and I life in Curaçao.
with a Dutch sim the iPhone works but with the sim of Curaçao it doesn’t. We trying unlocking the Sim but that appears not to be the problem.
I receive the message “sim niet geldig”
does somebody knows what the problem is and how to solve this?

It sounds like that iPhone is locked to a previous carrier. Only that carrier can unlock it, if you or your daughter are eligible.
Ask your daughter to contact that carrier and ask for the unlock procedure.
