2013 IMAC Won’t Connect To Any Devices

I have an old 2013 IMAC that, recently, does not connect to any USB or Bluetooth keyboards or mice, meaning I cannot get farther than the login screen. I have double checked, and all of the USB options I have used work perfectly fine on my other devices. Any ideas?

Reset the SMC as per > https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295

Desktop computers

  1. Shut down your Mac, then unplug the power cord.
  2. Wait 15 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.
  3. Wait 5 seconds, then press the power button to turn on your Mac.

Then try connecting a USB Keyboard and Mouse to the iMac.

Also note that wireless Keyboards and Mice, can only be paired with one device at a time. Meaning that it must be unpaired from the current device, before it can be paired with a different device.
