Translate App freezes

After watching the Apple Support Video about how to use this Translate App, it still freezes. It freezes in the middle of a task. It will not recognize downloaded languages, it freezes. And I am continually re-downloading the language I want to translate. When I open the app I have a dead frozen home page, nothing I do will get it to move to the next screen. No tap, touch, nothing will work. This is the ONLY app this happens with. I have uninstalled it, and then re-installed it. This is after shutting down my iPhone 13 Pro Max several times and trying to get it to work each and every time. Is there a BUG inisde this App? It is so odd for an Apple written app to perform like this.

We understand you're experiencing issues when attempting to use the Translate App on your iPhone. It also seems you've already attempted all the steps outlined in If an app on your iPhone or iPad stops responding, closes unexpectedly, or won’t open.

OK, I have spoken multiple times with your Support and they have screen captured this on my iPhone 13 Pro Max when it happens. They also downloaded several diagnostic reports. And it still is not remembering languages. This was handed off to senior Translate engineers. I hope they are working on this. As without the ability for Apples app softwear to not recognize/remember a language, this is worthless. In healthcare we are moving back to a different translate app which will work and actually is very accurate in its translations. Enough accuracy that Risk Managment says we can use it, but still must get a certified translator to translate also. But this app gets us going in the correct direction. This is a very disappointing app considering how much PR Apple has put into an app that does not work frequently. I expect it will eventually be fixed. Like being able to disable MACRO function on camera when using LIVE TEXT.
