I got chegg with my moms apple account and it says that we have the subscription on my settings but then when i use it, it says we don’t

i got chegg on my moms account and through settings it says that we have it, but then i try to use it and it says that we don’t have a subscription. I talked to a Chegg person and they sent me here.

iPhone 11, iOS 14

Was that app originally downloaded using the same Apple ID that purchased the subscription?


Does that behavior still continue if you uninstall and then reinstall that app? Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
