messages won't recognize my apple id

Out of the blue my messages stopped working on my MacBook pro. Every time I type in my Apple ID/Password it says it's wrong, but it's not.

Any work arounds?

Messages quit working in iMac and MacBook Air after Apple ID lock Yesterday, I got a message that my Apple ID was locked. I got it unlocked, but ever since then, Messages on my iMac and MacBook Air will not receive or send messages. Messages works fine on my iPhone. This link's instructions did NOT help: If you can’t send or receive messages on your Mac - Apple Support
