How to reset @icloud.com email account password

Is there a way to reset my @iCloud.com email password? I cannot seem to re-add it in MacOS Mail.

My Apple ID is a non-icloud.com email address. I created an icloud.com email account but I cannot seem to re-add it in my Mail app on my new iPhone 13 Pro and my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017) running MacOS Big Sur. I try re-adding it using System Preferences>Internet Accounts> Add Other Account. But I cannot remember the password I used when I initially created the account.

Any feedback is appreciated.😊

You Apple ID address say example1@icloud.com is not signed in Mac system preferences , rather another Apple ID say example2@gmail.com is signed in .

The Apple ID example1@icloud.com is now simple mail address , if its password is forgotten reset it using a link https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid

The upcoming credentials that were created with original Apple ID example1@gmail.com will be required in the upcoming steps .
