Import XML from DaVinci

After Importing XML file from DaVinci I have a glitch, it has some frame chop in the end of each Clip and it has red lines on timeline.

what is an xmld file? I am running the latest FC software. Whenever I try and export to XML file, it comes up as an xmld file. I have never seen this before and - annoyingly - I cannot then open this with Davinci. Has anyone else encountered this and, if so, how did you get around it? A search on Google shows no one apparently has seen this before? Running on a iMac and if I do previous version, it saves as XML as normal, but we lose all the grading we have done!

Cannot relink media after importing fcpxml file Hello, I'm trying to import a project from Da Vinci resolve 15 into Final Cut Pro 10.5.2. The timeline with all the cuts and organisation imports successfully but the media cannot be relinked in FCP. All of my media files are m4v files. Not sure if that's relevant but they're too big for me to convert in any case. The message I get reads: File could not be relinked. The original file and new file have different audio source and channel counts. Screenshot is below. I don't understand what's going on because the media file I'm trying to relink to is the original media file (I checked several times). I tried exporting other timelines from DaVinci 15 to Final Cut Pro and tried moving the original media into several different locations. It gives me the same error each time. Is there anyway for me to force it to relink the file or force it to replace the media file? It's a shame because like I mentioned, it has all the cuts in the right places.

FCP does not create new Snapshot, but overwrites the last one Exported XML from DaVinci Resolve This created an accidental gap clip with an empty storyline I converted this gap clip into the storyline by OPT CMD down arrow Now, whenever I choose "create snapshot" FCP does NOT create a new snapshot. I can see how it overwrites the last snapshot. I am doing a project with a very experimental soundtrack, and without the snapshot feature I can't do it. If you know what could have caused the snapshot feature to malfunction and how I could make it work, please let me know. thanks for you help!

Make sure the frame rates for the source material, the media itself, and the timeline are all correct and didn't get messed up during the XML transfer.

Hey, thanks for advice I recorded the project in 25fps and project was in 23.98 so I change it to 25 and now its good! thanks for advice!!!
