A quick and dirty way to delete all photos synced from a computer would be to enable iCloud Photos temporarily. The iPhone will delete all synced photos, because manual syncing and iCloud Photos are not compatible and the synced photos have to be removed before iCloud Photos can be enabled.

Leonie,
That is a nice trick. How long do you need to have icloud Photos enabled in order for the Mac synced Photos to be deleted?
Do you wait until they are gone? Or just a simple toggle will do the trick?
Of course this only works if you want to get rid of all the pictures you synced from the Mac. If you wanted to delete a selection of pictures then you would need to use the method I described
Hi,
You can't delete on the iPhone photos that a transfered from the mac to the iPhone. You need to connect the iPhone and mac and on the Mac deselect the albums you don't want to see on the iPhone and then sync
This will then remove the unwanted album or albums for example on your iPhone
