A quick and dirty way to delete all photos synced from a computer would be to enable iCloud Photos temporarily. The iPhone will delete all synced photos, because manual syncing and iCloud Photos are not compatible and the synced photos have to be removed before iCloud Photos can be enabled.

That is a nice trick. How long do you need to have icloud Photos enabled in order for the Mac synced Photos to be deleted?

Do you wait until they are gone? Or just a simple toggle will do the trick?


Of course this only works if you want to get rid of all the pictures you synced from the Mac. If you wanted to delete a selection of pictures then you would need to use the method I described
