Step tracker

My watch tracks my knitting as steps while I love the numbers I’d like it to be more accurate. Any suggestions other than taking my watch off when I knit

Knitting with apple watch Is there a way of knitting with apple watch without it counting steps, and without taking the watch off? If I take it of, I often forget to take it on again. Then the hole counting my steps is wasted… :) And I like to knitt when I have five minutes.

Apple watch movement for crocheters and knitters When I am knitting or crocheting, my watch thinks that I am walking, and it messes up all my daily goals and tracking... Is there a way to temporarily turn off activity tracking while I knit or crochet? I am taking my watch off if I remember it... but sometimes I do forget and it registers 1000 steps already by the time I catch on. Do you have any suggestions?

Turn fitness tracking off and back on again when you've finished knitting;

Settings/Privacy/motion and fitness/fitness tracking.
