Cracked the tempered glass on my XS

Would there be any harmful substance released if I cracked my OLED screen of my iphone XS?

I dropped my phone few weeks ago and the tempered glass was cracked. I have taped it up and it functions normally so far. Other than risking being cut on my finger, would there be any significant danger / harm I should be cautious about? Thanks.
