outlook password screen issue

Earlier today, I changed my outlook password and then I got a pop up on my iPad saying that I needed to update my outlook password in settings. Nothing came up when I pressed re enter password, I tried turning my WiFi off, turning my data off and back on again and resetting my IPad. The most I got was the outlook website popping up for a couple of seconds and then disappearing again. I decided to delete my account and then try re adding it but when I pressed on add account and then on outlook it didn’t give me the option to put my details in, it just asked me to re enter my password even though it never gave me the option to put an account in. It just shows up in settings as a ‘?’. Does anyone know how to solve this?
