There isn't a player app for Macs, only iOS and Android. You would watch on a browser: please see https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/questions/getting-started-with-bbc-iplayer/getting-started-computer

Check with the Developer of this software for compatible version specific for Mojave macOS 10.14
