Unable to look up profiles on Apple Music

I’m unable to look at my profiles on apple music (including my own). When I go to search for one under the “search” option, there seems to be no way to look for profiles instead of albums, playlists, etc.

As you can see in the image I’ve attached, there isn’t an option for me to see what my friends are listening to either. Let alone my own profile.

Whenever I click on the notification when someone follows me, it takes me to Apple Music and shows me “an error has occurred” multiple times.

My iCloud and Apple Music is signed into the correct account and my phone has also been updated to the latest software version (ios 15.0.2). I’ve tried to restart my phone multiple times as well.

This issue is quite infuriating and disappointing and I’d like to get it rectified as soon as possible.

iPhone XR, iOS 15

Hello there pushkal240,

Thanks for posting here on the Apple Support Communities! This is a place where other Apple users can submit questions or respond to others to help lend a hand. Let's take a closer look as we do our best to provide some additional insight.

We understand you're not able to view your Apple Music profile. Since this started happening, have you had a chance to test on other devices to see if the same thing happens? See what friends are listening to in Apple Music on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Android device

If the same thing happens on other devices, then this may be an account based issue that would require actually contacting Apple Support directly.

If this only happens on your iPhone, did you already try a restart? Restart your iPhone If so, try signing out of Apple Music and back in. Just be sure to note that this will remove all downloaded music, so while your playlist will still be the same, you'll just need to manually download albums or songs back.

We hope this helps get you pointed in the right direction.

Take care.
