Apple Watch 7 Screen Unresponsive
3 day old Watch 7 and the screen has become completely unresponsive. Both the crown and side button work fine.
I tried several hard restarts and a full reset, same result. Anyone else?

I've been on with their chat support. They're telling me I need to have it serviced and exchanged. I'm going with the exchange. Hope stock shortages don't slow the process.
Too bad this happened after only 3 days. I hope for others this isn't a widespread issue with the 7!

Use the Get Support button at the top of this page to discuss with Apple directly. Could you not have purchased from Apple Directly in Canada?
Use the Get Support button at the top of this page or call Apple (in the US) at 800-My-APPLE or go to your closest Apple Store and show them the watch.
This is why I ONLY buy my Apple gear from Apple directly, even if I have to wait. Jump+ has their own return policies, which doesn't reflect what Apple does. Little comfort given your situation at this point.
I ordered my Series 7 in Stainless, but it won't arrive until November 17 - 24. I can wait and I know if I have an issue, I can take it directly to Apple and they'll handle it appropriately.
So far, you're the first I've seen post about this. So not likely widespread or we'd already see other posts here.
Apple stores were mostly out of stock on the Series 7 on launch day.
Let this be a lesson when buying from an authorized reseller here in Canada.
Update:
I brought it back to the authorized retailer I bought it from (Jump+ in Canada), but they informed me that Apple has a strict no RMA policy on the Watch and iPhone (they do allow for other products like MacBooks). This means they couldn't exchange it and have to mail it back to Apple for service (approx 2 weeks).
So, after only having the watch 3 days I'm out with no possibility of refund or exchange and have to settle with whatever Apple decides to send back (new, mine "fixed", refurbished).
This is appalling customer service and possibly my last apple purchase.
