Websites reload and won't open

I have a 2012 MacBook Pro, after an update, certain websites try to open, reload and after 2 attempts a message, 'a problem repeatedly occurred,' appears. I read the forums tried all the suggestions, nothing. I disabled javascript and the website will remain open but won't do anything else. I am running a currently updated version of Catalina, the newest OS Apple says my computer will run. I figured 10 year old computer update, so I ordered a new 2021 13" MacBook Pro M1 processor 16g ram everything upgraded. The same problem occurred on the new MacBook Pro. I returned it.

The problem ISN'T because my MacBook is 10 years old, it has to be a software issue and Mac support was totally useless when I talked to them. Can anyone give or lead me to a solution? I have NEVER had any issue in the past. None, but I will not stay with Apple products if this issue persists. Help me........

MacBook Pro

Hi, and welcome to the Apple Community,

where some of us do our best to help each other troubleshoot.

Wondering which browser you are using to view the websites ... eg: Safari ?

Have you tried using another browser (eg: Firefox ?) and does the same thing happen with those certain websites ?

As it seems to be certain websites:

Have you tried contacting the website's management / development team about the repeated error messages.

Sometimes it can be that certain websites are not optimised for operating smoothly with certain browsers.

In those cases, it is difficulty caused by the code in the web-page not keeping up with current changes.

If you have ad-blockers or unnecessary virus-checkers installed they can cause interference.

Sometimes third-party (non-Apple) apps (eg: Chrome) can also cause interference with smooth operation of a Mac.

In this case, try turning them off, or use an uninstaller from the developer, and see if the problem is persisting.

Here are a few articles from Apple support that may or may not help:

Have you tried re-installing Safari ?

Update or reinstall Safari for your computer

If Safari can't open the page because too many redirects occurred

Try

Settings > Safari > Advanced > Remove All Website Data, and try again.

Hope there is something here that helps :-)
