Spatial Audio on iPod Touch

I recently purchased AirPods pro, and am trying to use spatial audio on an iPod Touch on Apple Music with a Dolby Atmos supported song, and am not seeing an option for spatial audio when holding on the volume slider in the control center when connected to the AirPods. I am also not seeing a spatial audio section in the Bluetooth setting of my AirPods. Apple has an article on how to use spatial audio and it says you can use it on the iPod touch. Does anybody know what I should do?
