"USB SuperDrive does not work on my MacBook Air. I just purchased a new Mac Book Air about 2 months ago. The usb SuperDrive I bought it last year and It worked fine with my old Mac Book Air. I am using a usb hub Belkin. I know the Hub works as I have an external drive connected to it and I see the drive when I view it on finder."

Two Things:
A. The Hub Being the Culprit:
It's probably the hub not having enough power. So, connect it directly into the computer. Or use an external-powered USB Hub
B. Verify the Connection:
See if the SuperDrive is even seen:
- Hold Down: the Option key
- Click: the Apple menu
- Select:: About this Mac...
- Click: System Report... button
- Select: Disc Burning (on the left of screen)
- Look For: this SuperDrive
