Terrible Gmail scrolling lag / jitter using iOS 15.0.2 on Phone 12 Pro

I just updated to iOS 15.0.2 last night on my iPhone 12 Pro. Everything seems to be working perfectly EXCEPT when scrolling through Gmail emails, the lag and “jitter” could make you nauseous. Every email is so jumpy and choppy when scrolling through it. It’s really disconcerting and hard to even read. I’m always hesitant to update too early but really was enticed by the security protections. Any solutions out there or do I need to wait for an update? Thank you.

IOS Mail super slow after 14.4.2 upgrade 'Upgraded' my iphone SE to 14.4.2 and now the mail app takes 10 seconds to update unread email list after opening. The icon shows there are new unread messages. Launch the app and wait 10 seconds before they are displayed. Count to 10 now................That is an eternity for an email list refresh. I hate upgrades. Always something gets broken. phil

Gmail App flickering and won't connect on my iPhone. My iPhone suddenly won't allow me to access my gmail app anymore. I have tried what has been suggested to others on this site, but without luck. When I press my gmail app on my phone, it spins, flickers and won't connect. Sometimes I get a quick glimpse of my emails but only to disappear again. Very much need access. Any thoughts? Thank You!
