My apple tv keeps cutting out.

My apple tv keeps cutting out. It was even doing it through the set up. It is not an internet issue as I am connect with an ethernet cable that works fine on my TV. All the apps on my smart TV work fine it is just the apple TV.

Do you have the Apple TV box? If so, which model? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

Try resetting the HDMI connection, by disconnecting the HDMI cable on both ends, then reconnect.
