App. and date, time, battery info text colour change

Hello I have recently updated to iOS 15 and previously all my app names and info on the top of the screen was black which was great on my light green background however since the upgrade they are all now white and I’m struggling to make out what they are.

switching to an all white or even lighter shade changes them to black however with my eye sensitivity (due to my epilepsy) I cannot run a wallpaper any lighter than I already was.

Is there any way to change the app names and info on the top (like the time and battery info. etc. ) back to black?

Currently, what you are asking for is not possible. You cannot change the color of the fonts like you are asking. Those colors are determined by the background and iOS decides that.

Have you played around with Dark Mode? Light Mode? You will find these in Settings ➔ Display & Brightness: Here you can toggle each mode and see one of them resolves the issue if you do not want to change the wallpaper.
