Setting up iphone 13 mini

I am trying to set up iphone 13 mini and it requires me to "update apple id settings" by entering my apple id. After I sign-in, it freezes and nothing really happens. What should I do?

My internet is slow but it is taking a lot longer to download my applications after I chose to set-up it through icloud.
