I am sharing mobile-data via hotspot from my iPhone 12. I am connecting the same using wi-fi from Macbook Air. But the wi-fi connection getting closed frequently within minutes. Is it because if iPhone gets idle or screen locked the hotspot will stop working? When i shared the network from Android phone and connected my Macbook Air, i didnt faced this issue.

Thanks for the reply. Can you please confirm whether I need to keep active on iPhone to keep the connection alive.
If I go for a break for 5 minutes from my Mac/iPhone the connection getting clsoed.

Thanks It helps. Will keep the option Low Data Mode and Maximise Compatibility (which I found in Settings -> personal Hotspot) option accordingly.
