Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
With my phone in silent mode (switch in down position showing orange) Slack and SMS message tones should be muted but they are not. I've even lowered the phone volume to zero but the audible ping sounds are still coming through. Is this a bug or a configuration setting?

It seems you're having trouble with the silent switch and we can help.
Do you see an on screen indication that the mode has changed?
When you flip the switch back and forth you should see the screen say Silent Mode On/Off.
Let us know what you're seeing when you enable it.

Mine is not working as well.
Mine does not show Silent Mode On/Off on the screen when I flip the switch!
So what is the solution? With the physical switch turning on and off. Still silent mode is not working.
