Apple ID and Subscriptions

I have two Apple ID's, my primary ID (call this A) and a much older ID (call this B), I now only use the primary ID. However, some of my subscriptions only appear against Apple ID B, which is annoying and I'd like to move them to Apple ID A.

When I set up my new iPhone 12 I placed my old iPhone 7 Plus next to it and let the old iPhone send the data to the new one.

This results in my primary Apple ID A being the main ID, but for some reason the subscriptions are highlighted against Apple ID B.

How do I get the subscriptions highlighted against Apple ID B moved across to Apple ID A without loosing any and be sure that they will also appear on my other devices, which all use Apple ID A?

Simple answer is you cannot transfer them, at best you may be able to share them. This very likely will not include the data since that is Apple-DI specific.

Merging Apple accounts (IDs) or transferring data is not officially supported, nor can it be done easily or completely.

Look into using Family Sharing to continue to be able to use items purchased with one Apple ID with other Apple IDs.

Thanks I’ve a lot to look at, looked at this from two angles, iOS & MacOS. Music is the main one and I can just sign into iTunes using ID B on a Mac.

Not so simple on iOS, I set up my iPad manually, while my iPhone was set up using transfer from old to new.

The iPad can’t see the music subscription, but my iPhone can.

Thanks again.
