Sos iMac stopped working
Hello. Suddenly my iMac 2011 snow leopard showing a folder with a question mark on startup. On top of that, cmd-R doesn't work and nvram reset shows me a lock which needs a password. What can I do?

That would indicate the computer cannot find the startup volume. On a 12 year old computer that is almost 100% that the internal HD has failed. Due to it's age, it's time for a new Mac.
