mac stuck on grey screen when turning on

Hello,

I have an old iMac 2007 with mac OS x snow leopard 10.6.8. When I start the mac it starts to be grey screen with black squares as in the picture. When I enter the safe mode the computer works well. I run all the diagnostics and tried to reinstall the snow leopard but it got stuck in the middle in this grey screen.

Can someone help me please???

iMac White Screen, Can't Start In Safe Mode (Black Screen) I'm doing some searching online trying to see if I can fix my iMac, which out of the blue stopped working. When I try to start it up, it shows the Apple logo and then goes to a white screen. The iMac is actually a 2011 model, but I couldn't find that option in the dropdown menu for the forum. I've been following some troubleshooting steps online to try to fix the problem, but most start with starting the iMac up in SAFE MODE. When I try to do this, I get the Progress Bar under the apple logo for some time and then the screen goes completely black. Any suggestions?? Thank you!

Apple I-mac 2007 turning on with a grey screen and then turns blank after 2-3 secs This morning when I tried to turn on my Imac 2007, it turns on with a grey screen and then after a second or 2, it just turns black. Nothing works. Even restarted several times but to no avail. I can hear error noises when I press a key on keyboard, but the screen doesn't show up. So, I guess it might be a screen problem? Do I have to replace the whole screen, or is there a fix without having to replace the screen? Kindly help me out, I have lots of important data inside it and I don't wanna lose it. Thank you
