I have seen a few references to this, but I don’t see this on my ipad settings after iOS 15, but am having the same issue. I also can click load content, but don’t want to do that on each and every email. Is there an easier option?
That is a good point. And I agree with you.
But can you explain to me why the images on the mail from Apple Support Communities are not showing?
Are they contain tracking tags too?
ASC has never sent photos in email notifications. I get dozens of notifications a day, have been for 17 years, and none of them has ever contained a photo.
Those images are from the inbox mail app not the browser.
You posted that they were not showing, then posted images that clearly are showing. So what is your point?
Somehow everything became normal, all pictures showing now, even when turning on the Limit IP Address Tracking.
Unfortunately, I have no explanation for that!! but everything is working fine.
Good to know info!
doesn't work. Does anyone have an actual solution? God I hate apple
Yes, you hate Apple because they protect you from being tracked through beacons in image files. Makes perfect sense.
That sounds like a phpmailer problem; it isn’t an Apple product.
yes, and it doesn't work
Then I can’t help further; it works for me on 4 iOS devices and 7 email accounts.
Thanks Lawrence for taking the time, but as I said this is why so many people are so frustrated with trying to get things to work with apple products. They just don't play well with others.
UPDATE: The fix I described above was only temporary. An hour or two later, the issue returned. 😤
Thank you. This worked for me.
How exactly do you turn on and turn off this privacy feature?
