apple tv+ prompting to buy but i already have it

I have an active subscription to Apple TV+. I was watching a show and the show stopped right in the middle and now I’m being prompted to buy Apple TV+. When I select to buy for $4.99/mo, I get a prompt that I’m already subscribed and it returns to the buy screen. I’m stuck in a loop. How can I fix this? It happened all of a sudden on all of my devices.

On what devices is this happening?

  • Verify that the system software and app are up-to-date.
  • Try restarting your device.
  • Try signing out of the Apple TV app. Then sign in again.
  • Try resetting the app (on third party devices). Then sign in again.
  • Try deleting the app and re-download. Then sign in again.


If the issue persists, then contact the Support staff.
