Everytime i click on my new messages, it doesn't show on my inbox

Can't delete text message on iPhone XR, iOS 16.0.2 Iphone XR iOS 16.0.2 I have one SMS in my messages that I cannot delete. I press hard on it, then press "delete" and the SMS pops back in the list. Unable to send iMessages to myself on my iPhone X When sending a "text" message to myself using my iPhone X, it only sends SMS messages (green bubble). I cannot send iMessage (blue bubble) to myself using my iPhone. There is no issue with sending iMessages to all my other contacts, the only issue is with sending to myself when using my iPhone X with iOS 16.0.2 installed. I am able to send iMessages (blue bubble) from my MBP 2015 and 2021 versions all the time with no issues. After syncing, my iPhone X shows MBP iMessage with blue bubbles. How to fix and keep it fixed? I've tried restarting, signing out/in to iCloud, disable/enable iMessages on both iPhone and MBP. Help! Paul

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We're happy to help with this trouble you're having with your text messages. So that we can find the best path to a resolution for you, we'll need a little more info. First, can you tell us the iOS version you are using please? Go to Settings > General > About to locate that. Does this happen with all notifications, or just the text messages? Also, does this issue persist after restarting the device? Follow the steps here, and let us know the outcome:
