Apple TV offline won’t work

That’s odd. That should work fine offline.

The Library in the TV app on iPhone would have a Downloaded section, and you should be able to play your files from there, while offline. In fact, the Downloaded section is all that is available in the TV app, while offline.

I can’t replicate your issue. It works for me, for both an iTunes Store movie and Apple TV+ episodes.

Try to delete and re-download the content.

If the issue persists, then contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/​email/​callback).

Putting my mini on airplane mode starts it. I feel it has something to do with the syncing of where the video should resume from. Airplane mode fixed this for me. Hope this helps

I am encountering this same issue. I can download the episodes and they show up under "Downloaded", but if I try to play any of them while offline, I just get an infinite spinning wheel. Did Apple Support have any solution for you?

Did you download the videos from Apple’s servers directly to the iPhone? Or did you sync from a computer?

Are you trying to view them on the iPhone, or are you trying to AirPlay to another screen?
