Problem with aplle tv 3 and hotspot fro
iphones - doesnt work. Apple tv is not even asking us for pass. When I try to connect any iphone’’s hotspot, I received on screen: password is not correct, try again (-100) .I cant provide or change that password, it just says that is not
correct :/ any ideas? In addition, apple tv doesnt have a problem while connecting to android hotspot and even asking for password 🥺
Possibly it is preemptively trying to use a remembered password for that network name.
- Try connecting again several times (3?), until it prompts for a different password.
- Try connecting to Other… network, then fill in both a network name and a password.
- Try using a different network name. For iPhone hotspot, that is the same as the device name.
- Last resort: Reset to factory settings to have Apple TV forget previously connected networks and their passwords.

Thanks for quick reply but Ive tried all possible solutions,even reset to factory settings. It doesnt even ask for password when hotspot is done on iphone -error 100 or before reset 3905 iirc. When hotspot is created on android - works perfectly. When I try to use Other network option, it doesnt even ask for password, direct prompt on tv - wrong password , error 100. I am out of ideas :/
Btw I wasnt able to reply using safari in ipad air -„ your session has expiredl” prompt right after logging and trying to reply to aforementioned post. But in firefox it worked without any issues. Wtf apple?
