Error message on Mac printing with hp Officejet pro 8620

I have an hp Officejet pro 8620, I can not get around an error message, missing or failed printhead. Is there a solution to this error?

If HP can’t sort this… Buy a printer that doesn’t have this issue? There are reports it’s fairly common error with that printer:

Are you attempting to use non-HP toner in this device? Thought I read once that HP was engineering their inkjet printers to misbehave on detection of third-party toner. Still, you should contact HP as others have recommended.

Have you tried HP, it is their printer missing or failed printhead is a printer error, not anything to do with the computer or Apple.
